The virtual tours of the welsh mountains currently cover five areas; the Carneddau, Glyderau and Snowdon (all three of which are located in Eryri / Snowdonia National Park), the Brecon Beacons, and Black Mountains (both regions in the Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacon National Park). Time allowing, these areas will be covered with an increasing network of virtual trails, and additional regions added.

The Carneddau (The Cairns) are the northern most range of mountains in the Snowdonia National Park, and form a the largest contiguous area in Wales and England above 3000 ft (910 m).
The tour includes a north to south traverse of the Carneddau, following the Cambrian Way from Conwy to Llyn Ogwen.
